Cube was appointed to provide Cost Consultancy services for the conversion of a 1960’s power station into a state of the art storage facility for Big Yellow Self storage.
The project involved substantial de-contamination, demolition and retained façade works followed by the conversion of the building into a 240,000sq ft storage facility. Eight levels of steel mezzanine floor were installed together with curtain walling roofing and new lifts.
Cube continue to act as Project Managers, Cost Consultants and CDM Co-ordinators on the highly successful Alliance development programme on behalf of the Esso Tesco Alliance. These schemes combine large Esso forecourts with the Tesco Express Convenience brand.
Cube have now completed over 80 of the highly successful Alliance developments over the last 8 years.
Cube have worked extensively to Value Engineer the cost and programme and have ultimately produced a 15% saving on construction costs for our clients.
